Allow me to introduce myself & why I makeup.
About a year ago I began having pain making it difficult to keep the job I had, became difficult to take the occasional makeup appointment, paint or continue performing, few of my big creative outlets. I had completely withdrawn, but I could still do makeup, on myself. However I had developed new allergies and have a strong belief animals should never suffer for our cosmetics so while I had completely withdrawn going to doctors frequently I began trying to make a silver lining. I began trying to not just help my own situation but figure how I could help others as well. I began a cosmetic blog to share and record my experiments for brands I liked and what I was allergic to and as therapy for myself. I sat and listened at Death Salon for reoccurring issues others had in death work and #deathpositive movement because even though it had been a long interest of mine with recent life events I felt a stronger pull to find a place I could help. Combining these items and of course being a life long #gothkid I began developing different small projects aimed to help death be more approachable and to have fun with life, expressing ourselves. My first project I’m launching is Vivus Mortis “living death”, because you can not have one with out the other and I think that is a beautiful thing.
I hope you will join me on this exciting adventure.
Hugs & bats,
