Sugarpill Part 2
Oh, hello Beauty Bat!
Lippies for every mood and then some. Sugarpill is a cruelty free company out of Las Angeles, CA known for richly pigmented makeup that was inspired by underground drag performers when wearing bright colors was a rarity. In development for 5 years the line launched in 2010 and has been a go to cult favorite since then. A brand launched for the unconventional.
Lipsticks have a nice thick but velvet comfortable feel as they glide on, but what they have that puts them on my go to list is that they mix just as well as their shadows and keep their vibrancy unlocking so many possibilities.
Plus did you see how cute these little "Pretty Poison" pills? Each capsule has a nice weight to them and feels nice as you turn them up or down, something so satisfying about it. Their bottoms also have a flattened bottom that says the color name and allows you stand theme up on your vanity. All are pink and white capsules except for the darkest of them: Zero, Dark Sided, Shiver, and Anti-Socialite.
In honor of dying my hair purple for the first time in a while thought I'd start with purple and pink shadows. Started with 2am, and then mixed in Dollipop and Velocity with a touch of KimChi for shadow and contour. I then topped with Lumi loose shadow from Sugarpill for some sparkle and transform this look a lil' bit more elven. (check out more swatches of shadows in Sugarpill Part 1) and go from there. We're here for the lipstick though right? I used Lumi again over U4EA and fell in love with this lip look! It's magical. Check out the mini gallery below this image for a few more lippies.
Thank you for playing makeup with me! I hope you enjoyed your visit makeup land, please remember your shoes and jacket before leaving.
Love you Beauty Bat,
K. Just a reminder: I purchased these products with my own funds, no affiliation, this post is purely of my own opinion and experience.
